Hello all, I'm posting this ad because I am shocked at how horrible it is to find a place to stay. I have lived in Central Oregon since 2000 and never have I had such a hard experience. I am 43 years young, responsible, fully employed outside the home. Respectful. I have verifiable funds for up to $1100 in rent plus deposits as well as the ability to pay a couple months in advance. I have great rental history. I have both personal and professional references. I'm a good hearted person that does for others. All I'm looking for is a one bedroom unit with a private bathroom and entrance. Why are there so many empty houses, or apartments being rented out to one person yet the state is paying for them to live in multiple bedroom units. Why must people live in the street and become victimized by the community as if houseless people are below others we all are one check away from being houseless and 90% of the time it certainly is not by our choice. I own my own vehicle, I dress the part of an active member of society. I work. I'm spiritual. I'm giving. I'm loyal. What gives. Why am I about to be houseless???? Please if anyone has any hope to offer me I would be grateful. Blessings to all those struggling. The struggle is real and it's extremely unfortunate.
