Rabbits For Adoption- Female Lop Male Netherland Dwarf

Events

Astoria OR

Description

I rescued several rabbits and they are now looking for their new homes! The female lop is 6-months old and the male Dwarf is 8 months old. Both Rabbits are being spayed/neutered mid February and will be available the first week of March. They are not a bonded pair and have been kept separately but could potentially be bonded. These are indoor rabbits only and we will only rehome them to people familiar with indoor rabbits, litter training, bunny proofing etc. Each rabbit will come with an exercise pen, litter box, food and hay. This pen is used as their home base and each bunny is used to 3 hours per a day free time outside that pen in bunny proofed rooms. They use the litterbox about 50/50 right now but that will likely improve tremendously once they are fixed. If you are interested in adopting one or both of these buns please email me with a little about yourself and your bunny experience and I will email you our adoption application. You will not pay an adoption fee until the day you pick up your rabbit. Adoptions Fee is $60 We will be adopting these rabbits per Rabbit Advocates adoption rules- We love Rabbit Advocates and recommend you check out their page! As per the Rabbit Advocates website: Are the rabbits spayed or neutered? All rabbits are spayed/neutered prior to adoption. What kind of housing do you recommend? Single rabbits need to have access to at least 16 square feet of space at all times, plus at least 3 hours per day of free-roam time indoors in a bunny-proofed space. Bonded pairs need to have access to at least 20 square feet of space at all times, plus at least 3 hours per day of free-roam time indoors in a bunny-proofed space. There is a lot of inspiration for indoor bunny “habitats” on sites like Pinterest. Most cages, crates, condos, and indoor hutches are too small. Many people use an exercise pen that is at least 4ft by 4ft and a minimum of 30 inches high. Bunnies must have room to run, hop, binky, and play in order to be healthy and happy. Tell me about your rabbits: Because these rabbits live with us as members of the family, we can tell you helpful information about a rabbit you are considering adopting. This includes info on the rabbit’s personality, what he is used to eating, what living arrangements will work well, his favorite treats and toys, and the answers to other questions you’ll have.
