Description

I’m preparing to direct a short-length film, a drama with a character-based story, that is in preproduction. I’m soliciting submissions from, or for, actors to fill the roles of characters in the film. A woman accompanied by another returns to the place where she grew up. She is looking for a friend from her childhood who was just a boy when she and her family left. It’s during her search, in a series of encounters, that the woman becomes involved with a man she meets. The two of them start to get close only to have an incident from her past come between them. I’ve depicted the characters as having these traits: in their early 20s, intelligent, with a serious sensibility.
