I received a pasta maker for Christmas and just made my first attempt at making the pasta dough. The recipe called for 500g (4 cups) of flour, 5 eggs, and water if needed. When I went to knead it, the mixture turned into a large, sticky ball. I think I added too much water.
Is there anyone experienced at making pasta dough that can teach me how to do it?
I'm excited about making pasta from scratch so I hope someone can help me out.....this is purely culinary assistance I need.....thanks!
