USAW Sanctioned Local Weightlifting Meet The Texas Barbell Showdown series returns for the sixth year with the top male and female lifters taking home the championship belt.  We will be featuring a full electronic scoring system, and IWF certified equipment. 1st - 3rd place overall awards will be given based on Sinclair for each of the following age divisions:  Youth Male and Youth Female Junior Male and Junior Female Open Male and Open Female Masters Male and Masters Female This is a USAW sanctioned meet. Singlets are required. If over 16, photo ID is required at weigh-in, along with your current USAW membership card. All sales are final.  COVID PRECAUTIONS: All spectators, volunteers, and coaches will be required to wear a face covering while indoors. Athletes will be required to wear a face covering while waiting to weigh-in and between warm-ups. Athletes will be permitted to remove the face coverings while on a platfrom. Session size will be reduced to allow for greater spacing between competing athletes. We will attempt to limit the sharing of warm-up equipment to those on the same team/same coach. Competition platform equipment will be santized between sessions Barbells will be sanitized between sessions.
