Alamo City Conservatives General Meeting - Guest Speaker - Cindy Gidden, Director at the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo Cindy Gidden Cindy Gidden retired from Valero Energy after 40 years. For 15 years, she held the position of Manager of Marketing Programs. She planned the Wholesale Marketing Customer conventions, parties, meetings and activities across the United States. She also Managed Wholesale Customer Service for 25 years.  Cindy has served on San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo Committees for 23 years. Cindy first served on the Horse Show Committee as a Shift Captain of Open Horse Show and Ring Steward for the three day Quarter Horse Shows and Chairman of the Ambassador Committee for 7 years and other special project committees.   Cindy attended West Texas State University, which is now West Texas A&M where she studied Business Administration. She is not only involved in volunteering with the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo but listed below are some of the many organizations she spends time working with, Texas Buckskin Horse Association, Paint Horse Association, American Quarter Horse Association,  Volunteer - Hays County 4H Horse Club, Arabian Horse Shows – local, regional and national levels; these are only a few of the many organizations she was associated with. She has been married for 48 years to Rocky Gidden.
