LOST/ MISSING WOMAN ENGAGEMENT RING AND DUAL WEDDING BANDS - $1500 REWARD for information leading to the the rings being returned Hello All - I am attempting to get the word out about a set of Diamond Rings with a Large engagement ring has been lost and the person might be attempting to sell them. This past Friday morning, Friday January 22nd 2021, between 8am and 9am, I was at the AMERICANA restaurant in Matthews with a close friend of mine. While there, a small gray jewelry bag, about 2” long and 2” wide, fell out of my pocket either inside the restaurant in the men’s bathroom, the pay counter, or also possibly outside in the back parking lot. Within this bag was my wife’s sacred PEAR Shaped Diamond engagement ring with small diamonds around the main one in a halo pattern. Additionally, her two wedding bands, which symbolize our twin boys, were also in the bag. I am BEGGING and PLEADING with all of my heart for whomever picked this up to return it to the store, call Matthew’s Police Department, or contact me directly so that my wife can have her most prized and symbolic rings back. These rings have FAR GREATER value to her and our household than the monetary price of them. I am offering anyone with information on who has this set of rings $1500 for information them that leads to us finding the rings. A police report has been filed and the police of Matthews, Mint Hill, CMPD, Stallings and the Union County Sheriff are all working with us and the Americana owner to identify who picked these up and kept them. We are taking all measures possible to locate these rings. Matthews detectives are leading the investigation due to the high value of the items and the serial number laser engraved on the diamond. As I said before, the monetary value of these is nothing compared to the symbolic value of them. This loss has our entire family deeply sad and upset. Please please, if anyone is out there and can help us locate these, please contact one of the above, preferably the Matthews Police Department who is the lead, or myself. We have no contempt, nor blame, for whomever picked these up. We DO NOT seek to hurt or otherwise attempt to do anything at all beyond simply getting these priceless pieces of our family back. If you have information, or were at the Americana Friday morning and possibly saw something that could help us identify who has them, again, the reward is for information which leads to us locating them and getting them back. If you have them, I’m begging you with all my heart, please make my wife and our family whole again. If it’s money you want, that I can provide.
