The Women's Championship Tournament will be held in conjunction with the Men's Championship Tournament. SIERRA GOLD USBC TOURNAMENT RULES 1. Eligibility: All entrants must be members of Sierra Gold USBC. Non-members of Sierra Gold USBC that belong to another USBC association may purchase an affiliate card for $10.00. 2. Participation: This is a Singles, Handicapped tournament. A bowler may bowl only once. 3. Handicap: This tournament will be a 3-game handicap tournament; handicap will be 90% of 230 4. Average: The entering average shall be in order of priority: a. 2019-2020 USBC Season Composite Average (as found on Bowl.com), or if none b. 2018-2019 USBC Season Composite Average (as found on Bowl.com), or if none c. Bowler will be assigned an average of 230. Rule 319 a-2 will apply for this tournament for averages as of March 10, 2021 It is the bowler’s responsibility to report, when the previous season’s average is used, and at the time of bowling he has a current average of 21 or more games that is 10 pins or more higher than the prior season’s average, the current average must be used. 5. $30 Entry Fee Breakdown Per Person Per Event: Lineage $13.00 – Prize Fund $13.00 – Expenses $4.00 6. Prize Fund: Prize fund will be returned 100% on a ratio of at least one prize for each five entries. In the event of ties, prize money for multiple places will be combined and divided equally. 7. Sanctioned Tournament and Applicable Rules: This is a USBC certified tournament. All USBC rules governing certified tournaments shall apply in any case not covered above. The Tournament Committee will rule on any disputes that may occur and that decision is final. A bowler may appeal any decisions made according to USBC rule 329. 8. COVID-19 Modifications: Masks must be worn at all times while in the Bowling Center (masks may be lowered for bowling when delivering the ball).
