Hello! I’m looking for help! My young female bloodhound had an early and unplanned pregnancy. All pups survived and are healthy. Almost one month old already. However mama dog is struggling. Their teeth and nails are shredding her poor teats. And the pups outnumber her nipples, so they are all very aggressive at feeding time, and mom takes the brunt of it. I have already introduced supplemental formula and will begin to introduce a kibble formula mix this week to help take some pressure off of mom. I’m looking to get rid of one or two pups ASAP, so that there is less of a fight at feeding time. Please contact me if you are ready and willing to help lighten the load.
