SUSSEX, WI — A Wisconsin family is grieving after their 11-year-old son died as he and his family made a "Make A Wish" trip to the Mall of America on Jan. 1. 11-year-old Mikey Choroszy succumbed to the brain cancer that he had been fighting for the last two years. According to a WTMJ report, Mikey's final wish was to go to the Mall of America to visit the LEGO store with his family, when his health quickly deteriorated. Mikey never made it home. "It is with sad news that I have to report that Mikey passed away this morning around 4:30 a.m. He is now with his brother Robbie who passed away last year on January third. Robbie and Mikey are dancing in Heaven right now as they are reunited," Jennifer Blease wrote in a Go Fund Me post. Family said they thought Mikey had overcome brain cancer went he went into remission earlier in 2019. In late September, family said Mikey began to experience daily headaches and mother, Tammy Wildish, knew something was not right. Family said Mikey was seen in the Emergency Room at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin where he was re-diagnosed with a germ cell tumor. "His sweet spirit and humor will be horribly missed by his friends, family, and school. Please watch over us Mikey as we mourn your passing, but celebrate as we know you are no longer in pain," Blease wrote. A Go Fund Me campaign has been set up to help Mikey's family cover funeral expenses for their son. To help Mikey's family, go here: TEAM MIKEY - #CANCERSUCKS
