MILWAUKEE, WI — Wisconsin health officials say 19 counties have "high" COVID-19 activity levels after the Department of Health Services released new data on the spread of the virus on Tuesday. According to the Wisconsin Department of Health Services, COVID-19 activity level is based on whether the county's case rate and whether the change in cases is significantly shrinking, growing, or the same. The new report can be found on the DHS website. Case Rate The total number of cases per 100,000 Wisconsin residents in the last two weeks. LowCase rate is less than or equal to 10 per 100,000 Wisconsin residents. Moderate Case rate is greater than 10, but less than or equal to 50 per 100,000 Wisconsin residents. Moderately High Case rate is greater than 50, but less than or equal to 100 per 100,000 Wisconsin residents. High Case rate is greater than 100 per 100,000 Wisconsin residents.
