Keynote at the event is national speaker Amy Wirtz, CEPA, The Family Business Consulting Group, Inc., Cleveland, Ohio. Wirtz specializes in shareholder value enhancement, business planning processes, and transition implementation of management, leadership, or ownership of a business. She graduated from the University of Toledo and Cleveland State Marshall College of Law. A national speaker, Amy serves on the faculty of the Exit Planning Institute's Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA) certification program. Martha Sullivan, CPA, CEPA, and president of EPI's Wisconsin Chapter, said, "The most successful approach to planning and preparing for a business transition is holistic – integrating the personal, personal financial and business needs of the owner into the plan. The degree to which there is effective and efficient collaboration with and between all of the owner's advisors significantly impacts the outcome. It can be the sole determinant between the champagne-popping celebration and a miserable, failed transaction. "We talk about building teams within our organizations often but rarely about how to build them between various advisors from different backgrounds and firms. It's time to change that conversation. Ms. Wirtz is an exceptional and accessible speaker on the topic of building high performance teams and perfect for kicking off our 2021 season – 2021 – The Year of Collaboration," continued Sullivan. Join us for a lively conversation on what makes up a high-performance advisory team, and how to set the stage for maximum collaboration. Discover the value of a cohesive, functional team; become familiar with the five behaviors of a cohesive team; and, learn best practices for leading a multi-disciplinary advisory team.
