BROOKFIELD, WI — Tired of the bumpy ride along Moorland Road in Brookfield? The Waukesha County Department of Public Works, along with their engineering consultants Graef-USA and RA Smith, will host a public information meeting for a project to rehabilitate and replace the pavement along Moorland Road in Brookfield. Transportation officials they're looking at a stretch of Moorland Road from I-94 to Bluemound Road. The informational meeting will be held on Wednesday, February 26, 2020 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Sheraton Milwaukee Brookfield Hotel, 375 S. Moorland Road in Brookfield. Officials say the meeting will be an open-house format with no formal presentation. Exhibits will be on display and handouts will be available. People with interest in this project are encouraged to stop by any time between 4:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Representatives from Waukesha County, Graef-USA and RA Smith will be available to discuss the project, answer questions and gather public input and comments. The Sheraton Milwaukee Brookfield Hotel is ADA accessible.
