Press release from the City of Charleston: January 8, 2021 PUBLIC MEETING DATES The City of Charleston/ Mayor's Office of Economic and Community Development (MOECD) will be holding public meetings as it develops the City's 2021-22 Annual Action Plan to guide the allocation of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME funds, consistent with the City's 2020-2024 Consolidated Plan. • Thursday, January 14, 2021 at 2:30 p.m. • Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at 5:30 p.m. Both meetings will be held by Zoom. The City will allocate some of its CDBG funds to non-profit agencies for activities that benefit low and moderate-income people. This is a competitive process and interested agencies must complete and submit an application.
