Red-eared slider - perfect for a responsible kid

This male red-eared slider is a near-perfect pet. He eats every other day and just needs a small amount of veggies. He's gentle enough to hand feed. A pump will clean his water and waste, so there is no smell. He's quiet; the hum filter is even soothing. He has buckets of personality and loves people. His favorite color to see or eat is red. He's from South Louisiana, so he can't be released into the turtle communities in Texas. He can't come with us to the snowy north, either. He's a lovely pet and we'll miss him tons, but we need to see to his best interests.
