Jackson, a junior at Madison HS, has been accepted to the Youth Leadership Council for the Special Olympics Virginia. Jackson joins a small group of students with this distinction and will be a youth leader who actively promotes the message of the Special Olympic movement, both at local and state-wide events. He will work among the community with his peers—both with and without disabilities—to promote the inclusion and acceptance of all his peers, regardless of their ability. Jackson's sister, who is also a junior at Madison, will partner with him in this initiative as he works to educate and motivate the community about inclusion.
