Guitarist looking to start band

Hello, I'm looking to start an alternative rock band (for lack of a better term) in the same vein of The Menzingers, The Flatliners, Hot Water Music, Off With Their Heads, etc. I have a few songs written already, but I would like to have a have a band to make them complete. I would love to play shows, but even if I could get these songs recorded (I have demos) just to have them, that would be great too. Experience in a band is a big plus. If you're a vocalist, please have the artists mentioned as an influence already. Thanks!
