A Young Man Explores Ego And Truth In Exhibit At Mize Gallery A 21-year-old man shares his personal journey between ego and true self in his art show, "Ego Death," which opens at the Mize Gallery in St. Petersburg Friday. Jabari Reed-Diop, whose artist name is iBOMS, created opposing mushroom characters that experience a psychological transformation throughout each piece. Photos Wanted: Exhibit To Focus On Tampa Bay Chefs, Mixologists The Florida Museum of Photographic Arts is accepting admissions for its newest exhibit, "The Chef's Special." The FMoPA wants to celebrate Tampa Bay's talented chefs, baristas, restaurant owners and brew masters by featuring portraits of them in the museum's gallery. Florida Studio Theatre Presents 2021 Winter Play Reading Series Florida Studio Theatre will host its 2021 Winter Play Reading Series, presenting online readings of five new plays in progress written by some of the country's top playwrights, the theater said in a news release. Starting Jan. 29, FST audiences will get a first look at a wide range of plays currently in development at FST – from drama exploring American identity to a modern adaptation of Shakespeare's "As You Like It."
