ROUND ROCK, TX — A person was killed in a traffic wreck in northeast Round Rock over the weekend, police confirmed. The collision occurred at around 3:40 p.m. on Saturday at the intersection of East Palm Valley Boulevard and North Georgetown Street, police wrote on Twitter. The age and gender of the accident victim was not disclosed. The incident sparked traffic detours as police re-routed all westbound traffic north on Sunrise Road and diverted southbound traffic north to Egger Avenue. Officers are working a fatal accident on E Palm Valley Blvd at Georgetown St. Expect extended traffic delays.
