WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TX — Williamson County offices will be closed for the Thanksgiving holiday, officials said on Wednesday. The county closure is slated for Thursday, Nov. 26, and on Friday, Nov. 27. The county will resume normal working hours on Monday, Nov. 30. Moreover, the Williamson County Commissioners Court meeting has been canceled for Tuesday, Dec. 1 due to the holiday, officials said in an advisory. The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, but will resume operations on Friday, Nov. 27. Schedule your adoption appointment by emailing [email protected]. The shelter will celebrate the holiday all week long starting on Monday (Nov. 23) until Sunday (Nov. 29) by offering an $11 adoption special for adult cats and large adult dogs.
