Information via the Perrot Memorial Library GREENWICH, CT — After a busy summer and fall last year, Perrot librarians have put together their popular youth programs available on Zoom from Jan. 19-April 5 (unless otherwise noted). According to a news release, these free and fun kids' classes offer something for babies through 4th grade aged youth and are easy to sign up for at the library's website. New to Perrot youth programs for 2021 is a Wednesday Storytime at 5 p.m. Storytime will include a collection of stories and songs for preschoolers and young children at a time of day when parents and caregivers may be preparing dinner or need an activity for their little one. As always, the popular Sing With Me program with guitarist and music teacher Mr. Jim is back for all ages to enjoy an afternoon dance party and sing along. The following is a list of the winter/spring 2021 Perrot Youth Programs (additional information can be found on the library website): BABIES AND TODDLERS TOGETHERTuesdays at 10 a.m.For ages 0-24 months: Stories, songs, and rhymes that are specially designed to develop language and literacy in the very youngSign-up here. 2s AND 3s TOGETHERTuesdays at 11 a.m. & Wednesdays at 11 a.m.For ages 2- and 3-year-olds: A sampler of stories, songs and finger-plays for two and three-year-oldsSign-up here for Tuesday sessions. Sign-up here for Wednesday sessions. WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON STORYTIMEWednesdays at 5 p.m.For ages 3-, 4-, 5- and 6-year-olds: Stories and songs for preschoolers and young childrenSign-up here. SING WITH METhursdays at 4:30 p.m.Families with children of all ages will enjoy and dance to this family sing-along program with live music, featuring music teacher and guitarist Mr. Jim.Sign-up here. STUFF AND NONSENSEMondays at 4 p.m.For students in Kindergarten and First Grade: A program of stories plus a craft. A grab-and-go craft package will be available on the day of the program for those who have registered ahead.*Limited to 25 participantsSign-up here. SPOTLIGHTWednesdays at 4 p.m.For kids in Grades 2, 3, and 4: Non-fiction books and stories, and a craft. The theme of this program changes each session.
