Press release from the City of Johnson City: May 1, 2020 For immediate release City Commission to hold upcoming meetings electronically The Johnson City Board of Commissioners will hold its regularly scheduled work session on Monday (May 4) at 6 p.m. On Thursday (May 7) the Board of Commissioners will hold a budget work session at 2 p.m. and its regularly scheduled City Commission meeting at 6 p.m. These meetings will take place electronically, pursuant to Governor Bill Lee's Executive Order No. 16, issued on March 20, 2020. There will not be a physical location in order to protect public health, safety and welfare. An agenda for this meeting will be available at www.johnsoncitytn.org/citycommisionagendas and citizens may access this meeting via the City's website at www.johnsoncitytn.org/streaming.
