Class dates March 31, 6pm-9pm & April 11, 8am-5pm.
Traditional in-person courses are available to all students and are taught by trained, certified volunteer instructors who meet state and international standards. Volunteer instructors provide valuable information to new hunters including insight into the sport of hunting, resources and support. In-person courses provide students the opportunity to ask questions of instructors and gain further guidance. There is a $20 fee to complete a traditional in-person course to help cover facility rental or cleaning costs.
This course is done in two sessions.
The first session will be March 31st from 6pm-9pm. Homework assignment will be passed out, discussion on the survival kit and the start of the lessons are completed during this session.
The second session will be Sunday April 11th from 8am-5pm. Turning in the homework assignment, firearms handling, Law, ethics and landowner relations, survival and first aids and map and compass and the final test are covered. during this session.
