SEEKING OUT WITNESSES of an accident on the Twin Spans

On Tuesday January 5 around 11pm, a horrible accident occurred on the eastbound lanes of I-10 on the Twin Spans bridge. My daughter, her fiancé and her two young sons had driven from Pensacola to just west of New Orleans in a black Toyota Tacoma to pick up a used white Nissan Armada and load it onto the U-Haul car hauler they were towing. They were hit from behind by a blue pickup truck which forced the trailer to jackknife and turn their Tacoma completely left into the path of an oncoming Chevy Traverse. My future son-in-saw lost his life while my daughter and her two sons all had significant injuries including multiple surgeries. The driver of the blue pickup, an Hispanic male wearing a blue hard hat and a yellow vest, fled the scene in a black Honda car.
