Hi, We have a 12 year old African grey Male, we have had him 3 years now. His name has been peanut since birth we kept the name cause he knows it and comes to his name. He is a good bird and very loud loves to scream when he wants attention or its bedtime and he wants to be covered up. He sings whistles and talks and says a couple words only when ur not looking lol. He has bitten my mom one time when she tried holding him but she shook her arm around so I think that he got scared that's why he bit her. He's never bitten me or my 8 year old son. He is nervous at first around new people and when we first got him it took about a month to open up and be his funny adorable self. He doesn't like to be petted but loves to be held and would always be held if possible lol.
