Mandeville Class of 2021 Parent Sponsored Senior Prom will be Sat., March 27, 2021 (8:00pm to 11:30pm) at the Fleur De Lis Event Center Our Seniors should be able to celebrate their last year in high school by actually having a Senior Prom! As of today almost "all things Senior" have already been cancelled and there is no doubt that it is just a matter of time before they announce that there will be no prom. That's where you (the parents) can step in and make this event happen for our kids by purchasing a ticket for your Senior to attend this Parent Sponsored Senior Prom. Please know that this is strictly voluntary and is not an official school sponsored event. The Fleur De Lis Event Center has 2 ballrooms and a courtyard reserved for our Seniors which will allow for 450 people to be (safely) in attendance! At the venue (on Prom night) there will be a list of Seniors that purchased tickets (through "Eventbrite") and each student will have to show their Senior MHS school ID in order to enter the event. All tickets must be purchased ahead of time and once all 450 tickets are sold , we will not be able to add more. The only way a Freshman, Sophomore or Junior Mandeville student may attend is if they are accompanied by a Senior student as a date. Students from other schools will again only be admitted if accompanied by a Mandeville Senior student as a date. Everyone will need a school ID in order to attend. If your Senior does wish to bring a date (that is not a Senior at Mandeville or goes to another school) you should then purchase 2 tickets. There will of course be chaperones on site for the event. I know that together we can make this a Prom night to remember for the Class of 2021! Thank you for your support, as our Seniors certainly deserve to be celebrated! * If MHS does decide to go ahead with the traditional school sponsored Prom, then this "Parent Sponsored Senior Prom" will be cancelled and you will be reimbursed the cost of your ticket.
