Press release from the Village of Menomonee Falls: September 18, 2020 Repairs to the bridge are scheduled to begin on Monday, September 21st from 8 am – 3 pm and to proceed from 8 am – 3 pm on the following Tuesday and Wednesday. Heat straightening of damaged girder flanges over the southbound right lane is anticipated to take one work day and possibly two (if needed). Preparation of the steel and touch up painting will follow. Daily freeway closures are as follows: I-41 southbound on-ramp from County Line Road (HWY Q) and the I-41 southbound right lane 8 am-3 pm Monday, September 21st – Wednesday, September 23rd. For safety of the users, the pedestrian bridge will be closed on both ends during the heat straightening process. This press release was produced by the Village of Menomonee Falls.
