On December 11-14, 2019 four Mako Aquatics girls travelled to Federal Way, WA and the King County Aquatic Center to compete in the 2019 USA Swimming Speedo Winter Juniors - West where they successfully competed in individual (Ellery Ottem 100/200/500 free, Ella Stein - 100/200 breast, Sydney Rogness 200/400 IM) and relay events (200/400 Medley Relays & 200 Free Relay - Evie Wood, Ella Stein, Ellery Ottem, Sydney Rogness) with Ellery Ottem placing 16th in the 200 free. In addition, multiple team records were set by the girls: 13-14 Girls – Ellery Ottem (50 free 23.76Y, 100 free 51.20Y, 200 free 1:49.39Y (ranked 2nd in the country for 14yo) and 500 free 4:57.21Y) 13-14 Girls – Evie Wood (50 back 27.50Y) 17-18 Girls – Ella Stein (50 breast 29.90Y, 100 breast 1:03.57Y, 200 breast 2:17.92Y, 200 IM 2:07.23Y) Senior 400 Medley Relay (Evie Wood, Ella Stein, Ellery Ottem, Sydney Rogness) 3:51.67Y
