From the St. Croix County Historical Society: July 28, 2020 The St. Croix County Historical Society participated in St. Croix RiverFest this year by creating a video for the annual celebration on the St. Croix River in mid-July. The Historical Society's video "Images of Hudson: Then & Now" highlights some historic photos from our photo collection paired with drone videos filmed by Historical Society volunteer Dick Nelson. The video is available for viewing now and is an interesting way to see how Hudson has changed over the years. Due to COVID-19 this year RiverFest was celebrated as a virtual event. Several local organizations and individuals have collaborated to make "RiverFest – A Party with a Purpose" a success. The five-day event celebrates the river while also recognizing the need to preserve its health and beauty. Learn more about the Historical Society's photo collection on our website.
