GREENFIELD, WI — A commercial development along S. 76th Street in Greenfield will make way for a new burger joint. According to a JSOnline report, a Five Guys restaurant will be going in at 5001 S. 76th Street at the intersection's southwest corner as soon as mid-2021. According to the report, the restaurant will be on the first floor of a commercial building. Earlier this year, Five Guys Burgers and Fries proposed to occupy 2,600 square foot of tenant space within the soon-to-be-built multi-tenant commercial building on the corner of S. 76 St. and W. Holmes Ave. according to Greenfield Plan Commission documents from July. Five Guys is considered a fast casual restaurant known for their hamburgers and fries. Additional items on the menu include hot dogs, grilled cheese, veggie sandwiches and milkshakes. Five Guys is estimating to employ 35 staff, 10 per shift. There will be no drive-through with this proposed restaurant, authorities said.
