GREENFIELD, WI — As a major winter storm heads into our area starting Friday night, the City of Greenfield has declared a snow emergency. City of Greenfield Police department officials sent a public bulletin out Friday afternoon, notifying residents that the City of Greenfield has declared a snow emergency starting at 6 p.m. Friday and expiring 6 a.m. Monday, Jan. 13. No parking is allowed on any main street. All other parking is restricted to alternate sides. Here is a list of streets where there is no parking in Greenfield during the snow emergency: S. 27th Street, S. 35th Street, S. 43rd Street, S. 51st Street, S. 60th Street, S. 68th Street, S. 76th Street, S. 84th Street, S. 92nd Street, S. 104th Street, S. 112th Street, S. 116th Street, S. 124th Street and W. Morgan Ave., W. Howard Avenue, W. Coldspring Road, W. Layton Avenue, W. Edgerton Ave., W. Grange Ave., W. Ramsey Ave., W. College Ave., W. Loomis Road, W. Forest Home Ave., W. Beloit Road, S. 31st Street between W. Edgerton Ave. and W. Grange Ave. Parking on all other streets in the city is restricted to alternate side at all times. Park on the side of the road with even addresses on the even day and odd addresses on the odd day.
