GREENFIELD,WI— The Greenfield School Board filled a vacancy Monday.
After all of the candidates had presented, the Board had an extensive discussion.
They ultimately voted to appoint Tom Frohna to fill the vacancy. He will serve the remainder of the term, which runs through April 2021.
"We are so thankful to have so many highly-qualified candidates, from diverse backgrounds, willing to share their time and talent on the School Board," a statement read.
The school district received six applications. All six people spoke at the school board meeting Monday.
Frohna previously served on the school board after having been elected twice. During his previous service, he acted at the board's clerk and treasurer.
