GREENDALE, WI — Greendale has seen a decrease in the number of active COVID-19 cases and the number of people who are in quarantine as close contacts of those suspected of being infected with the virus. All information is via the Greendale Health Department as of Aug. 27. COVID-19 — By The Numbers All data via the Greendale Health Department and updated to Aug. 27. 2,973 (123 new since Aug. 20) The number of negative, suspect, probable and confirmed COVID-19 cases the Greendale Health Department has reviewed or investigated. 201 (10 new since Aug. 20) Number of Greendale residents that have tested positive for COVID-19 26 (30 fewer since Aug. 20) Number of people who were identified as close contacts of positive cases and who are currently quarantining for 14 days. 7 (6 fewer than on Aug. 20) The number of people who are currently isolating after testing positive for COVID-19. 6.8 percent (up from 6.7 percent on Aug. 20) The positive case rate for COVID-19 in Greendale. 3 (unchanged) The number of people who died of COVID-19 in Greendale.
