EDMONDS, WA ā A 7-Eleven clerk was shot and killed during a robbery attempt early Friday morning, according to investigators. Edmonds Police said a customer came into the store on 238th Street Southwest and discovered a 64-year-old man lying on the ground with a gunshot wound.
Detectives responded to the scene at 5 a.m. and reviewed surveillance video showing a man they believe to be the shooter.

Police said his face was covered when he entered the store.
Law enforcement from Snohomish County, King County and Washington State Patrol did a K9 track through the morning, but have not located the man.
Police said the suspect is considered a "serious threat to the public," and anyone who sees him should immediately call 911.
