SUDBURY, MA — The grand opening of The Farmer's Daughter in Sudbury is still coming in early 2021, but the brunch-specializing restaurant is hosting pop-up dining events on weekends as a preview.
The restaurant's pop-up cafés run Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Meadow Walk plaza along the Boston Post Road. The pop-ups are happening in a space next door to where the full restaurant is set to open.
The pop-up café events feature brunch items like brioche French toast, maple-Sriracha bacon and smashed avocado toast and a Croque-Monsieur — a decadent French ham-and-cheese sandwich. The pop-ups also feature a pantry with to-go items.
Farmer's Daughter owner Chandra Gouldrup has been planning to open the Sudbury location for about one year, an expansion from her first locationin Easton. She received final approvals from the Board of Selectmen this fall, and has been working to build out the restaurant in recent months.
