After blowback on social media and the attention from some high profile lawmakers, the Guardsmen were finally allowed back inside the Capitol. No reason was given for their removal in the first place, but we do know it was the Capitol Police that initially banished the Guardsmen. I doubt Joe Biden himself ordered this move. But he's the President of the United States. And this treatment happened just down the road from his new house. These are the same men and women who protected him during his inauguration two days ago. They deserve better than a cold garage floor.
