WINTER HAVEN, FL — A deputy with the Polk County Sheriff's Office faces charges of written threats to conduct a mass shooting after a coworker reported text message threats he sent, investigators said. The deputy, Peter Heneen, 29, allegedly made threats related to the insurrection that took place on Jan. 6 at the U.S. Capitol. Authorities arrested Heneen Tuesday after another deputy reported the conversation to a lieutenant on Jan. 8. F--- the federal government. FBI are corrupt they are all corrupt." The other deputy tried to calm him down in response. He texted, "You'll maybe get one or two down before you are taken out." "Nah, I got a plan for that at least I'll take them," Heneen texted. Heeneen has been suspended pending termination procedures, deputies said. The suspect has been employed with the Polk County Sheriff's Office for more than six years.
