FALMOUTH, MA — UPDATE — The 4-year-old Mashpee boy died in the Falmouth crash on Route 151. A 4-year-old child suffered serious injuries in a two-car crash on Route 151 in Falmouth Thursday, according to police. Around 9 a.m., police were called to Route 151 at the on-ramp of Route 28 northbound. Officers found a sedan and a commercial truck were involved in a crash. The toddler was airlifted to a Boston area hospital with serious injuries. Falmouth police, Massachusetts State Police and the Barnstable County Sheriff's Office are investigating what caused the crash. Patch will update this story as more information becomes available.
