You may not have heard about her since she spent most of her career in Chicago. She also wasn’t on the field of play. Jeannie was a newspaper and television sports reporter, and an author. Jeannie, who passed away last month, was associated mostly with football all the way up to the Super Bowl. She received plenty of accolades and awards during her career for her pioneer spirit and her accomplishments. Possibly, though, Jeannie would prefer to be remembered most for her association with the Brian Piccolo Cancer Research Fund.
