Looking to start Bluegrass group

I’m looking to start a bluegrass group in the Madison area that could play some small outdoor shows this coming spring and summer. I play banjo and upright bass but would prefer to play banjo in the group. I’m thinking a small ensemble of guitar, banjo and mandolin/fiddle would be fun even if it’s just to jam for now. I like Flatt/Scruggs style and older stuff relative to nugrass but open to play whatever! Obviously getting together to play requires more hurdles than it used to but I’m hoping we can figure something out at some point... who knows Also, I have a few booking connections in the area through my other country band so hoping we could get some stuff on the books once we have a small repertoire. Would be great if you also know people in the area as I’m relatively new to the scene. I’m happy to send some recordings of my playing if you want as I don’t want to waste anyone’s time Looking forward to hearing from some people! Missing playing music with others these days...
