MIDDLETOWN, CT — A Silver Alert has been issued for Ivan Aviles, 35, who was reported missing from Middletown on Thursday night. Aviles walked out of his house around 9:45 p.m. and was last seen in the area of Rose Circle in Middletown, according to police. He is believed to have been heading north toward Stoneycrest Drive/Newfield Street, police said. Aviles is described as having brown curly hair and light facial hair. He is 5 feet, 11 inches tall and weighs 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt, black sweatpants, and black sneakers. Police said Aviles has underlying medical conditions, and if located, do not approach him and contact the Middletown Police Department immediately at 860-638-4000.
