Hearthside Cats is an all volunteer, nonprofit, no-kill cat shelter located in Avon, NY. We rescue and provide medical care to homeless cats and kittens, while striving to promote public awareness and responsible pet ownership. In 2020 we have worked to help over 200 cats and kittens in need, including many medically urgent intakes and critical care kittens. With the help of Barn Cat Outreach and Animal Rescue Connection, Inc., we have also been working to TNVR (trap-neuter-vaccinate-release) feral cats in Geneseo, many abandoned after their owners moved. As an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization, we rely solely on fundraising efforts to continue to save those who need us most and we are incredibly grateful for the kindness and generosity of our community.
