AUSTIN, TX — Firefighters put out a fire at a South Austin trailer home Friday afternoon hours after putting out flames engulfing the outside of two houses in North Austin, officials said.
The structure fire erupted at 6600 Elm Creek Dr. just before 1:15 p.m., the Austin Fire Department wrote on Twitter. No one was in the trailer home at the time, and no injuries were reported.
Firefighters did not provide the estimated cost of property loss. The residents of the trailer home do not live in the structure full time, and were therefore not there at the time, fire officials said.

Hours before, firefighters were called to the intersection of 49th Street and Strass Drive in North Austin early Friday where the exterior of two houses were engulfed in flames, fire officials wrote on Twitter just after 5 a.m.
