While Charlie comes across as a rather timid guy, he will warm up to your affections. Note that he likes being petted on his haunches. While he didn't seem as interested in playtime, that would probably change when he gets situated in a new "furever" home. He walks well on a leash but doesn't appear to have had any other training.
