Albany needs a meeting spot for musicians

I've been rotting away with my guitar for years with no one to play with or exchange ideas. Is there a place I don't know about to maybe spend a Friday night and play, maybe knock back a few? Emac stopped it's open mic nights shortly after I started playing there. Anyone have any ideas? Is there a place I don't know about? Us musicians need to network! I play indie/folk stuff if anyone was wondering.
