You may be eligible if you:- Are at least 18 years old- Are currently pregnant- Are planning to deliver at the ETSU OB/GYN ClinicAND one of the following:- Currently smoke cigarettes everyday OR- Currently use an electronic cigarette or vaping device everyday OR- Use both productsIf you take part in the study, you will be asked to:- Attend up to 3 visits pre-delivery (pending your due date, approximately 12 weeks apart), each visit is about an hour and compensates $50- Complete brief monthly calls and one call 3 months after deliveryYou may receive financial compensation up to $270 if eligible. There is no drug testing in this study. This study examines the effect of e-cigarette use compared to cigarette smoking during pregnancy women and newborn babies, and on birth outcomes (birth weight and gestational age).
