Press release from the City of Franklin: November 25, 2020 Franklin, TN – The Franklin Firefighters' 13th Annual Christmas Toy & Clothing Drive is underway! The gift requests of more than 300 Williamson County children can be found on the holiday fire hydrant displays outside all Franklin fire stations, FFD Headquarters in Franklin City Hall (2nd Ave. side of the building at the flagpole entrance), and Macy's in the CoolSprings Galleria. Stop by to select a gift request card from one of the displays. Purchase the single item requested on the card. Return new, unwrapped gifts with the card attached to a fire station***, City Hall, or Macy's by Monday, December 14th. ***For contactless fire station drop-off, leave your donation at the front door and ring the doorbell.*** The Franklin Firefighters' Toy & Clothing Drive has provided coats, clothes, shoes and toys to hundreds of children each year since 2008. The recipients are identified by representatives of the Williamson County Chapter of the Boys and Girls Club of Middle Tennessee who work with other charities to prevent duplication of efforts. Monetary donations are also accepted at the Franklin Fire Department collection stations. Checks should be made payable to Franklin Firefighters Charities. All contributions are tax deductible.
