Western Avenue Traffic Switch At 41st Street In Sioux Falls Scheduled For Friday

From City of Sioux Falls: August 26, 2020 Beginning on Friday, August 28, 2020, traffic on Western Avenue at 41st Street will be switched onto the newly constructed concrete on the west side of the road to allow crews to begin working on the next phase of construction at 41st Street and Western Avenue. Traffic on both 41st Street and Western Avenue will continue to be reduced to one lane in each direction during the remainder of construction at the intersection of 41st Street and Western Avenue. This project is expected to be fully open to traffic by late fall of 2020. Some minor work will continue into the spring of 2021. Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes. This press release was produced by City of Sioux Falls.
