From City of Sioux Falls: HOME News 2020 11 11 Sioux Area Metro To Temporarily Reduce Weekday Service HOME News 2020 11 11 Sioux Area Metro To Temporarily Reduce Weekday Service Log out Create Meeting Update Meeting Sioux Area Metro To Temporarily Reduce Weekday Service Effective Thursday, Nov. 12, Sioux Area Metro will need to temporarily reduce service due to staffing issues related to the COVID-19 pandemic. All fixed routes will move to hourly service on weekdays. All fixed routes will begin services at 5:45 a.m. from the Downtown Bus Depot except for Route 11 services which begin at 6:15 am. Buses will then depart from the Downtown Depot every hour thereafter with service provided during normal operating hours. Route 11 will continue ½ hour services from the Southwest Transfer Facility. Saturday service will remain at the same service level. The routes will be switched back to a normal schedule once staffing issues are resolved. A new schedule will be available at the Downtown Depot, as well as online at siouxfalls.org/sam. This press release was produced by City of Sioux Falls.
