MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — Manhattan Beach residents moved into new turf yesterday, with more than 1,000 residents testing positive for the Novel Coronavirus since data began to be collected last March. The city had 993 cases as of the Sunday report from the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health. On Monday, that number increased to 1,009. On Thursday, Oct. 22, the City of Manhattan Beach had 392 individuals cumulatively who had tested positive for COVID-19 since data collection began in March and four deaths. The city has had 4 deaths in January , bringing Manhattan Beach's total deaths since last March to 8.
